Air Force uniforms in the form of standardized and distinctive dress, intended for identification and display, are typically a sign of organised military forces equipped by a central authority. The AFN uniforms are extremely adaptable to different environments and can be changed easily.

Airman Battle Uniform
The Airman Battle Uniform (ABU) is the typical working uniform for deployed and garrison Airmen. The pattern of the ABU is digital grey. The sleeves of the jacket will be worn rolled up while in garrison during the summer months, and not rolled during the winter months. Non-air crew Airmen are authorized to wear the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) in the appropriate color when deployed in combat zones.
Federation Dress Uniform
The Federation Dress Uniform (FDU) is worn by all military personnel in situations where formal dress is called for. It can be worn at most public and official functions, and as an analog for business dress. It is based on both traditional and modern design and the colors of black, red, and gold in the case of officers, reflect the colors of the American Federation. The class "B" ADU is a variant which is worn without the overcoat and all insignia and decorations go directly on the undershirt.
Military Physical Fitness Uniform
The Air Force Physical Fitness Uniform (AFPFU) is a modular uniform with individual pieces that can be combined or eliminated depending on physical training conditions. All parts of the uniform are styled in black. The AFPFU is made up of a track jacket, short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirts, track pants, fleece cover, cotton gloves, and stretchable running shorts. No standard shoe style is specified to be worn, however they must be neutral in color.
