The Legislative Branch
The American Federation Congress is the only component of the legislative branch of the Federation government. It is monocameral, comprised only of a Congress. The Congress meets at the F.A. capital in Liberada, Mercer. Congressmen are chosen through direct election, though vacancies may be filled by a presidential appointment. Members are usually affiliated to the Nationalist Party, and only rarely to another political party or as independents.
