Enlisted Ranks
Corporal First Class (CFC)Corporal First Class is the first level of the noncommissioned officer (NCO) ranks, represented by the rocker. a corporal first class serves as a leader of soldiers. Like Sergeants, they are responsible for individual training, personal appearance, and cleanliness of their Soldiers.

Command Sergeant Major (CSM)The command sergeant major is the senior enlisted advisors to the commanding officer. They carry out policies and standards and advise the commander on the performance, training, appearance and conduct of enlisted Soldiers. A command sergeant major is assignable to battalion level or higher.

Officer Ranks
Second Lieutenant (2LT)Most officers enter the Army as a second lieutenant. They lead platoon-size units consisting of a platoon sergeant and two or more squads and typically act as junior platoon leaders (PLs). There are many ways to become a commissioned officer such as attending the FA Military Academy.
